Magical stay with all amenities needed. Comfortable and warm with great washer and dryer. Challenging arrival due to river flooding but friendly farmer helped. Beautiful area with affordable meals at charming pub. Unforgettable experience.

Our stay at Barns Tower in Peebles was truly magical. The building's quirkiness and rich history gave it a unique and character-filled atmosphere. We loved cozying up by the log fires and the underfloor heating in the shower room kept us wonderfully warm. The breakfast pack provided was fantastic and the location in the beautiful scenery was just perfect. The tub bath in the bedroom was a delightful touch, and the abundance of lamps made the whole experience extra cozy. The Tower had all the amenities we needed, and the washing machine and tumble dryer were a great asset after weeks of hotel stays. The diversion caused by the flooded River Tweed added to the charm of the area, with a friendly farmer guiding us. We also enjoyed dining at the Crown Keys Pub, where the affordable meals fit perfectly with our budget.

Would recommend this hotel.
